Design 2404 High Speed Motoryacht
This preliminary design was prepared for an executive at brokerage house E.F. Hutton & Company. The year was 1982. The emphasis was on speed rather than overnight accommodations.
Accommodations include a large lounge/dining area, galley, toilet room with shower, wardrobes, salon with steering station and a large cockpit with an adjacent day head. The dining area could be converted to berths for occasional week-ending.
Power was to be derived from twin MTU 12V (12 cylinder) 331 TC 92 marine diesels producing 1,600 hp each for a top speed of 49 knots.
The project never came to fruition.
